A new type of logistics supply, Universal Logistical Holdings (ULH), provides customers with the ability to control a range of logistics issues and to provide a level of quality, safety and service that can’t be achieved by an individual logistics provider.
ULH is designed to complement the current supply chain model by providing customers with a streamlined, integrated and high-value solution that is tailored to their business needs.
Universal Logistic Holdings has already attracted more than 100 clients in the United States and has been successful in establishing partnerships with the likes of US defence giant Lockheed Martin, US airlines, and Australian airlines.
ULA will be a key part of the United Kingdom’s strategy to establish itself as a global logistics hub and is already in the pipeline to deliver on that ambition.
The company’s management has also established a strategic alliance with the European Union (EU) to accelerate development of ULA and to expand its market presence.
“ULA is a strategic partnership between the UK government and its logistics partners, as well as our UK business partners, the United State Government, the European Commission and others,” said David Lohman, chief executive officer of ULH, in a statement.
“Our strategic partnership with the EU, which has the largest logistics industry in the world, will provide the UK with the right tools and capabilities to become a global leader in logistics, delivering world class services in a cost-effective and environmentally friendly manner.”
Universal Logifications business model has been developed over a decade and is focused on delivering world-class logistics to businesses in the supply chain of all major sectors of the global economy.
Universal’s strategy has seen ULH become a key player in the logistics industry.
The Company is headquartered in Woking, UK and has offices in the US, Germany, Australia, India and Asia Pacific.
The UK’s logistics industry is growing rapidly and its market is expected to reach $1.5 trillion by 2020.
UL H is also in the process of establishing an international logistics center in Singapore.
The project will provide new jobs and growth to the Singapore market, according to ULH.
The U.K. will also become a hub for ULH’s global logistics business, with the creation of a new logistics supply chain hub in the U.S.A.
