Windigo Logistics is in the final stages of expanding its operations at the Moverjet Logistics location in Jackson, Mississippi.
The company is adding a new flight deck, which it will use to house and transport a Boeing 737 MAX, and a new storage facility to handle windigo cargo and supplies.
The company plans to add new flights and to operate a second store in nearby Monroe, Mississippi, and to expand the capacity of its fleet, the company said.
The move comes as more than 70 percent of the storm damage was caused by winds of up to 80 miles per hour and some coastal flooding.
Windigo Logistic’s Jackson location has been the site of a number of major storms and hurricanes.
Last month, the winds uprooted trees and power lines, and the company reported some minor flooding.
The Mississippi storm that dumped 2 inches of rain on the state killed one person and damaged several hundred homes.
Windigos Logistics has a fleet of more than 600 planes and a fleet that includes aircraft such as Boeing 737-800s, Boeing 737 Max aircraft and Boeing 737 X-Boat aircraft.
The Jackson location, which is a logistics hub for the airline and several other airlines, will have additional flight deck capacity.
The new warehouse, which the company plans on building in Monroe, will house the planes and the cargo it will transport.
Windigo’s Monroe location has a hangar for a new Boeing 737 airplane.
Windigan’s Monroe will also have a new loading dock, the latest addition to the company’s inventory.
The additional loading dock is located on the backside of the existing facility that holds windigos’ shipping containers.
In Monroe, Windigo plans to open a new store in a nearby townhouse, the Moxie, which will sell the company and its windigoes’ supplies.
Moxie is also expected to have new loading docks and new airfields.
