Here are some panthers you may want to keep an eye on this season: Joe Burns Burns is a versatile player who has played a big part in the Panthers success this season with the Panthers winning 10 of their last 12 games.
Burns has also had his share of injuries, having suffered a torn ACL in October and a broken ankle in November.
He’s missed nine games in a row and was sidelined for a month in the middle of the season with a groin injury.
Josh Jackson Jackson is a big bodied forward who can move the puck and make plays with his speed.
The 22-year-old has been solid in his limited playing time and is currently averaging 3.9 points and 5.7 rebounds per game.
Cam Newton Newton is in a position of tremendous power for this Panthers team.
He has a very fast, powerful stride and has the ability to beat defenders with the quickness to get to the rim and finish.
He also has the agility to get into the paint and finish in tight spots.
Aaron Gordon Gordon has had a good season for Carolina this season, averaging 3:28 of ice time per game with the team and leading the team in scoring with 20 points (seven goals, 11 assists).
Gordon is one of the fastest players on the Panthers roster, averaging a speed and agility score of 5.1 points per game and has an impressive shooting percentage of 53.4 percent.
Antoine Roussel The 22-foot center was one of Carolina’s key offensive players this season and has been a steady contributor to the Panthers offense.
Rousseau has averaged 4.3 points per contest this season as well as a plus-11 rating.
Dwight King King has been one of New Orleans’ top offensive threats this season scoring 20 points per-game, while being among the team leaders in scoring and rebounds.
King is also a good rebounder for the Panthers and has a plus 3.5 rebound rating.
