The company has been waiting for more than a year to get Amazon logistics to the United States, but with the holiday season approaching, the company has finally delivered its latest delivery to the country, according to Amazon.com.
The Amazon.in shipment arrived Wednesday night and will be delivered in two days, Amazon said.
It’s the company’s first shipment to the nation since it began deliveries in the United Kingdom last month.
It was supposed to be delivered on Thanksgiving Day.
A delivery to Chicago was postponed because of the hurricane.
Amazon’s announcement that it will begin shipping to the USA came as a relief to many who are concerned about the logistics of getting the new items from Amazon warehouses to stores.
For instance, a customer from Texas told ABC News that the logistics company is only able to ship to the states it’s already in.
We’re so happy that we got it, she said.
“This will allow us to go to the stores that we need to go and get the stuff that we have in stock and that we don’t have to worry about getting from a warehouse,” another customer from New Jersey told ABC.
Amazon announced in November that it would begin shipping orders from Amazon’s fulfillment centers to the US on Nov. 1.
On Wednesday, Amazon was finally able to begin shipping, according the company.
“The next step is to deliver all orders by Nov. 15,” Amazon said in a statement.
“Our customers will then be able to pick up their orders from the fulfillment centers and pick them up at their local store.
We have heard from them. “
