An analyst at Triton logistics and logistics management company is set to earn a $300-a-month salary of more than $300k.
Triton Logistic Solutions’ chief executive, Andrew Smith, told the Australian Financial Review the salary was based on a performance review conducted by an outside firm.
The job is expected to begin in early 2019, he said.
Mr Smith said the firm had recently signed a new deal with a logistics company that would allow Triton to hire up to 10 staff for the new role.
“The new deal means we can hire up 10 people and it’s the same as the existing position,” Mr Smith said.
The new job will be a new position with Triton and its existing logistics business.
“The pay for our new analyst is in line with the $300m we’re getting from Triton,” he said, adding that he had not been made redundant.
“We have the right people here and it will be an excellent opportunity for them.”
Mr Smith also confirmed that a new regional logistics consultant was being recruited to join the Triton group.
The regional logistics specialist will work closely with Trion’s logistics business and Triton’s operations group.
Trion is one of the largest logistics and freight companies in Australia.
It operates in more than 40 countries, including the United States, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands and Singapore.
